Kaulig Racing announced earlier this year that they would be running a full time Cup Series car for the 2022 season, people were unsure up until recently if they would run a second car. Kaulig announced today that they would run a second Cup Series car with 3 different drivers in the car all season. Aj Allmendinger, Daniel Hemric, and Noah Gragson will split the ride throughout the season. The real shock here is Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric becoming teammates given their history in the last few seasons that eventually boiled over into a fight this season after Gragson backed into Hemrics car on pit road during a live pit stop. However, this does not come as a shock to people who are social media followers of team president Chris Rice and also follow Noah Gragson, these two are good friends off the track. This relationship grew strong this year and now Kaulig is giving Gragson a shot to prove himself in Cup alongside the other Kaulig Racing drivers and full time driver Justin Haley.
